Behavior Services

Ultramar provides Behavior Analysis services to children and adolescents up to the age of 21. One-on-one therapy services will be conducted with clients, either in their home or at school setting. Throughout the course of Behavior Analysis services our team works with children to build critical developmental skills, such as communication, behavior, social skills, play skills, and more. Our goal is to help children develop socially significant skills by building positive behaviors, reducing challenging behaviors, strengthening communication skills, and increasing level of independency to perform daily living skills.

BEHAVIOR SUPPORT CONSULTATION/PARENT TRAINING

At Ultramar, parents can expect individualized care for their children that is embedded in evidence-based practices. Our team values parent collaboration in ABA therapy and provides strategies for home that encourage full-family involvement. Ultramar highly encourages parents to be actively involved in their child’s therapy program. Being actively involved in your child’s behavioral therapy sessions can allow our team to provide helpful feedback and even create new goals for your child’s home-based ABA therapy program.

FUNCTIONAL BEHAVIOR ASSESSMENT (FBA)

In order to design a good treatment plan for your child, our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) conduct a thorough evaluation using research-based assessment tools. This helps us get to identiy your child’s needs and outline therapy goals to assist the child to learn new skills and reduce the occurrence of maladaptive behaviors.

ABA THERAPY

The goal of ABA therapy is to decrease harmful behaviors and increase positive ones. Initially, a comprehensive evaluation of the learner’s skills will be conducted to assist in creating an individualized intervention plan, intense 1:1 therapy session may then be conducted to address the needs of the child. By understanding why your child is performing a behavior, our clinicians can comprehend how consequences affect the likelihood of your child repeating a behavior.

We have a wide range of Professionals from BCBA’s, BCaBA’s, LMHC, LCSW and Registered Behavior Technicians serving our client’s with the upmost professionalism and with extensive background knowledge in the Behavior Healthcare field.
